Kuwait’s Stunning Hidden Beaches Gained Recognition at the 2024 Top Asia Corporate Ball

The 2024 Top Asia Corporate Ball, hosted by Top 10 of Asia magazine, brought together esteemed guests from across Asia at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. This spectacular annual event recognized and celebrated the achievements of trailblazers, leaders and innovators in their fields.

The Top Asia Corporate Ball is an annual celebration event as well as an occasion to recognise the achievements of influential individuals, corporations, and nations showcased in Top 10 of Asia and Top 10 of Malaysia publications. Different from traditional awards ceremonies, the event celebrates success across a wide array of industries and cultures. Held in cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore, the Ball has garnered the backing of governments from over 20 Asian countries. The event’s highlights included inspiring awards, captivating performances, and exceptional networking opportunities, fostering valuable business and social connections. In addition, the Ball emphasises its commitment to philanthropy, supporting charitable causes and further cementing its status as a significant platform for both celebration and social impact.

Attendees were treated to a prestigious awards ceremony, recognising excellence in 50 diverse categories. A distinguished panel of judges meticulously selected the winners for their outstanding impact on their industries. In his opening remarks, Mr. Lee Seng Chee, Managing Editor of Top 10 of Asia magazine, expressed pride in celebrating these achievements. “We are incredibly proud to honour the individuals and organisations who have made remarkable contributions to various industries,” he said, setting the tone for an inspiring night.

The event celebrated the nations whose contributions have greatly impacted Asia’s cultural and economic spheres. Kuwait was awarded the prestigious Asia’s Top Country for Hidden Gem Beaches Tourism Award, celebrating its pristine and lesser-known coastal destinations that have become hidden treasures for travellers. With its unique blend of untouched beaches, crystal-clear waters, and stunning natural landscapes, Kuwait offers an unparalleled experience for those seeking tranquillity and beauty away from the usual tourist spots. The country’s commitment to preserving its coastline and promoting sustainable tourism has made it a standout destination for beach lovers. By highlighting these hidden gems, Kuwait has effectively positioned itself as a premier destination for those in search of exclusive, scenic beach experiences. The award, presented to Kuwait’s Counsellor to Malaysia, Mr. Bader Al-Saqer, underscores the country’s rising prominence in the global tourism landscape, particularly in the sector of beach tourism.

The award was conferred upon Kuwait following extensive research and surveys conducted by Top 10 of Asia magazine. Feedback and insights were gathered from travellers, tourism experts, and industry professionals, ensuring the recognition accurately reflects Kuwait’s exceptional offerings in the beach tourism sector. This thorough evaluation highlighted Kuwait’s hidden coastal treasures and its growing appeal as a top destination for serene and picturesque beach experiences.

Among the key highlights of the awards was the recognition of leaders in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. Federal Express Services Malaysia (FedEx), Watson’s Personal Care Stores, Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad and YTL Corporation stood out for their commitment to sustainability and positive social impact. Additionally, other notable recipients included RF3 World Sdn Bhd, Corus KLCC, Mr. Tuk Tuk and Biovisma Sdn Bhd, further showcasing a diverse array of excellence across sectors.

Beyond the awards, the evening featured stellar entertainment that kept the energy vibrant. International and local performers, including Janella Salvador from the Philippines, Korea’s Han Byul Jung, Malaysia’s Dasha Logan, Suki Low and Dr. Soo Wincci, enthralled the audience with mesmerizing musical performances. Stand-up comedy by Dr. Jason Leong and Singapore’s Jacky Ng added a touch of humour, ensuring guests remained captivated throughout the night.
