Agoda, Saudi Tourism Authority partner to boost inbound tourism from Asia
Digital travel platform Agoda, through its strategic partnerships division Rocket Travel by Agoda, has announced a long-term collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority to promote Saudi Arabia as a travel destination across the Asia Pacific region. The partnership was unveiled at WiT Singapore and will begin with the ‘Spectacular Saudi’ campaign, which will run until February 28, 2026.
The campaign targets travelers from eleven key Asian markets including Singapore, China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Japan, Australia, South Korea, and Thailand. It aims to highlight Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage and diverse attractions through immersive storytelling, curated experiences, exclusive offers, and marketing across Agoda’s digital platforms as well as other channels.
Designed to increase inbound tourism, the Saudi Tourism Authority will use Agoda’s Media Solutions for targeted advertising. Travelers will have access to discounts on selected accommodations, while dedicated landing pages will guide them through Saudi Arabia’s famous sites and hidden gems. Hotel partners in Saudi Arabia will also benefit from enhanced exposure through prominent placement on Agoda’s platform.
Following this initial campaign, the broader partnership between Agoda and the Saudi Tourism Authority will extend until the end of 2029. The collaboration will include continued marketing efforts such as social media promotions and visual banners on Agoda’s website to attract more travelers and drive bookings.
Damien Pfirsch, Chief Commercial Officer at Agoda, said the collaboration combines Agoda’s strength in engaging travelers from Asia with Saudi Arabia’s tourism goals. He noted the campaign’s potential to inspire more visitors to discover the country’s unique destinations.
Alhasan Aldabbagh, President of Asia Pacific at the Saudi Tourism Authority, highlighted the importance of impactful global partnerships. He stated that Agoda’s reach would help position Saudi Arabia as a top choice for millions of travelers and support the country’s growing tourism sector.
