Petrosains, Twin Towers Sky Xperience bring Malaysia’s wonders to life this school holiday
Petrosains, The Discovery Centre, in collaboration with the PETRONAS Twin Towers Sky Xperience, is enlivening the year-end school holiday period with a festive programme designed to celebrate Malaysia’s scientific, cultural and architectural marvels.
The holiday initiative, themed ‘Where Malaysia’s Wonders Come Together’, runs throughout the school break and offers families, students and tourists a multi-dimensional experience that blends learning, creativity and national pride. The programme positions Malaysia’s iconic skyline as a gateway to discovery, encouraging visitors to explore, imagine and connect through interactive experiences.
At Petrosains, young visitors are invited to take part in hands-on science activities and immersive learning adventures. One of the main highlights is the return of the popular ‘Night at Petrosains’, featuring three exclusive after-hours sessions that allow guests to explore exhibits in a unique nighttime setting.
The Thinking Spot! Edu-to-Cart: Unboxing with XPLORASI programme further enhances engagement by combining on-site exploration with take-home activities, extending the learning experience beyond the visit.
Complementing the educational offerings are workshops and interactive quiz sessions aimed at stimulating curiosity, sharpening problem-solving skills and nurturing creativity among children.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, visitors can enjoy a Multicultural Drum Show that reflects Malaysia’s diverse heritage, alongside energetic dance performances showcasing artistic expression and movement.
Families can also capture memorable moments at a dedicated festive photo booth, while children are treated to meet-and-greet sessions with popular mascots A.R.I.F., Wira, Manja and Mechamato.
Meanwhile, the PETRONAS Twin Towers Sky Xperience offers visitors panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur from the Sky Bridge on Levels 41 and 42 and the Sky Deck at Level 86. Interactive displays provide insights into the history and significance of the world-renowned twin towers. The experience is complemented by the Sky Café on Level 83, which offers premium dining with sweeping city views.
Petrosains Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer, Ezarisma Azni Mohamad said the programme reflects a commitment to delivering meaningful and inclusive holiday experiences while building momentum towards Visit Malaysia 2026.
As the year comes to a close, both attractions continue to position themselves as key destinations where discovery, celebration and national identity converge, with more activations planned in the lead-up to Visit Malaysia 2026.
