Let’s Go Malaysia: Powering Investment, Trade and Tourism Through Synergy

Official Program Premiere and Launch Ceremony Marks New Chapter of Malaysia China Collaboration

Amid the celebration of the 52nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, as well as the momentum of Visit Malaysia 2026 and Visit Johor Year 2026, the Let’s Go Malaysia Cultural, Trade & Tourism Promotion Event was successfully held at Saint Tropez Hotel Changsha, Hunan.

Jointly organised by KMA Production and Hunan TV International, the event marked the official launch of the cross-border travelogue programme “Let’s Go Malaysia” The initiative aims to deepen cultural exchange, tourism promotion and economic collaboration between China and Malaysia.

Distinguished guests attending the launch ceremony included Puan Sri Nur Qistina Lim, Chairman of KMA Production; En Radzlan Shah Ramlan, Regional Director (South China) of Tourism Malaysia; En Safwan Nizar Johari, Acting Investment Consul of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) in China, Pn Farhana Kamaruddin, Trade Consul for Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Guangzhou, Second-Level Inspector of the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce; Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism; and among other notable representatives from government, tourism and business sectors.

More than a programme launch, the event served as a cross-sector platform connecting government agencies, industry leaders and cultural representatives from both countries. Participating organisations included Tourism Malaysia, the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Tourism Johor, as well as the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce and Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

Corporate partners such as EcoWorld Development Group Berhad, R&F Princess Cove and IFOOD Expo also participated, while nearly 100 mainstream media organisations attended the event, reflecting strong interest in expanding Malaysia–China cooperation across tourism, culture and business.

The cross-border travelogue “Let’s Go Malaysia”, jointly produced by KMA Production and Hunan TV International, serves not only as a television programme but also as a cultural bridge connecting the people of both nations. The series explores Malaysia’s diverse cultures, rich culinary traditions and the historical heritage of Johor through immersive travel storytelling.
