Michelob ULTRA Taps Tinker Hatfield For Collaboration Bottle So Exclusive, It Can’t Be Bought

As the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks play for the coveted title at this year’s NBA finals, Michelob ULTRA has taken their moniker as the official beer of the NBA to the next level with something special prepared for fans to celebrate with.

The official beer of the NBA has enlisted the fine talents of legendary sneaker designer, Tinker Hatfield, to bring a limited-edition Michelob ULTRA x Tinker Hatfield “Not For Sale” NBA Championship Bottle. A fitting name since the bottle can only be procured through a giveaway hosted on Michelob ULTRA’s Twitter once the final buzzer sounds during the last innings of the NBA finals.

Hand-signed by the sneaker design icon himself, the NBA Championship Bottle emulates the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy with a metallic gold finish shielded by a classic white basketball net, and sits perfectly in its premium packaging reminiscent of a shoe box, with an iconic Tinker-original sketch followed by a short note on the design process, giving the fans a glimpse into how it all came to life.

As if it weren’t exclusive enough, the number of bottles produced will be limited to the number of points scored by the winning team at this year’s NBA Finals, with each box being numbered to maintain authenticity.
