Recently, Maxim’s team surveyed its users about why they chose Maxim as their preferred way of getting around. The survey lasted for six months to analyze the key factors of their choice.
Affordable price and comfort
Data showed that most responses mentioned Maxim’s affordable prices: the price range Maxim offers depends on several factors, like location, time, weather, and type of ride. Specialists also monitor the price range on the market to offer the best price for everyone. Maxim also offers comfortable trips to ensure its users’ satisfaction. “Usually, I spend RM15 to RM20 on a ride, but now I can pay less while still enjoying a comfortable ride,” said Ms Farhah, a user of Maxim e-hailing.
User-friendly app
Maxim’s app is adapted for people who need extra help, like blind, hard of hearing and people with other disabilities. Maxim also has a rate for people with special needs called “Mesra OKU.”
This rate allows users to take their pets for a ride with them without any additional charges. Passengers with disabilities can inform drivers about their four-legged travel companion in advance by messaging or calling them through the app. Moreover, the app also has a speech recognition feature for people with vision impairments who can book rides using their own voice instead of relying upon others. This speech recognition feature of the app is a useful addition designed to make the special clients more independent; it’s also a step towards Maxim Malaysia’s commitment to creating a user-friendly app.
Not only that, but Maxim also briefs and educates its partner-drivers on how to work with disabled passengers and ensure their comfort during rides. Passengers get to receive help from drivers without any charges and to keep their helping tools at the back of the vehicle.
Urban mobility
Maxim increases the level of urban mobility throughout the country, including both big cities and rural areas. This allows users in all parts of the country to book rides to get around. The company’s launch in every new city is also a new opportunity for job seekers to earn income: they can register as partner-drivers and make money using the app. It’s a flexible opportunity for everyone in terms of time management, income, and workplace.
Rate diversity
The services that are offered are not focusing on e-hailing or car transportation only, there are also several other services available to users, such as package delivery, food delivery, pick-ups, towing and jump-start services, and many more. Multiple services are all accessible in a single app.
Social activities
Giving back to the community is one of the efforts that Maxim always makes. In the past campaigns, Maxim held several Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) events: in 2024, they organized monthly programs for communities to support them, such as donations to fire and flood victims, free food for iftar, support with transportation for the disabled, and many more.
