TIA Wellness Resort Vietnam redefines spa experiences with aerial flow and advanced therapies

TIA Wellness Resort has expanded its holistic wellness portfolio with the introduction of an immersive aerial therapy experience and a series of technologically enhanced facial and body treatments, setting a new benchmark for destination spa offerings in Vietnam.

The resort recently unveiled Aerial Flow Therapy, a pioneering wellness ritual that blends restorative bodywork with a fully immersive light and sound environment. Designed as a weightless experience, the therapy is conducted in a specially constructed room where guests are gently suspended in a hammock-like cocoon, allowing the body to float freely during the session.

While airborne, therapists guide guests through slow, rhythmic movements, assisted stretching and calming touch aimed at releasing spinal compression, easing joint discomfort and encouraging smoother energy circulation throughout the body. The experience is enhanced by a three-dimensional lightscape featuring evolving colours and shapes, creating a deep sensory environment that envelops participants in a dreamlike state.

According to TIA Wellness Resort general manager Ramon Imper, the multisensory design of the therapy supports both physical recovery and mental relaxation.

“The combination of gentle movement and immersive visuals allows guests to disengage from external stress and enter a restorative state,” he said, adding that the experience helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system, commonly associated with relaxation, calmness and improved sleep quality.

The 60-minute Aerial Flow Therapy is offered exclusively to guests under the resort’s Retreat Inclusive programme, which provides a more intensive wellness journey. The package includes multiple daily treatments, plant-based dining and access to wellbeing activities such as yoga, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), breathwork sessions and creative workshops.

In addition to the aerial therapy, TIA has expanded its Retreat menu with three new treatments — Advanced Facial Beauty Therapy, Shiatsu, and Energy Body Flow — further strengthening its comprehensive healing approach.

Drawing inspiration from Japanese wellness traditions, the Advanced Facial Beauty Therapy integrates cutting-edge facial technology with Italian skincare brand Comfort Zone. The multi-step treatment features aqua-derm cleansing, ultrasonic exfoliation, cryo-cooling and LED light therapy to cleanse, hydrate and firm the skin, resulting in a refreshed and youthful appearance.

Imper said the introduction of advanced facial technology marks a new direction for the resort’s beauty offerings. “By incorporating tools such as ultrasonic vibrations and LED therapy, we are able to enhance the effectiveness of our facial treatments while maintaining a holistic philosophy,” he said.

The resort has also introduced a 60-minute Shiatsu session, a traditional Japanese full-body therapy that focuses on acupressure points and energy meridians to relieve muscular tension, support digestion and strengthen immune function.

Meanwhile, the Energy Body Flow treatment combines non-contact Reiki energy healing with gentle massage techniques. The 50-minute session is designed to release deep-seated tension and promote overall relaxation by working simultaneously on physical and energetic levels.
