Star Voyager welcomes global comedy icon Tape Face for limited sea run

Internationally celebrated silent comedian, Tape Face is set to bring his trademark wordless humour to the high seas as he headlines a special series of live performances aboard Star Voyager from Jan 9 to Feb 5, 2026.

StarCruises said the limited engagement will take place during the vessel’s seasonal deployment from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur via Port Klang, offering guests a rare opportunity to enjoy the globally recognised entertainer in an intimate cruise setting.

Tape Face, widely known for his breakout appearances on America’s Got Talent and his successful resident show in the United States, has built a worldwide following with his unconventional comedy style.

His performances combine physical theatre, expressive mime and carefully choreographed visual gags, allowing audiences of all ages and backgrounds to connect without the use of spoken words.

Passengers sailing during the designated period will be treated to complimentary live shows staged at Star Voyager’s Zodiac Theatre. Each performance is expected to showcase Tape Face’s signature use of everyday props, subtle audience engagement and deadpan timing, delivering evenings filled with spontaneous laughter and memorable moments.

President of StarDream Cruises, Michael Goh, said the inclusion of the internationally acclaimed performer reflects the cruise line’s commitment to elevating onboard entertainment.

He noted that Tape Face’s universal appeal aligns well with the ship’s diverse regional itineraries and multi-generational guest profile, adding a distinctive highlight to the overall cruising experience.

During its seasonal operations until early February 2026, Star Voyager will operate a selection of three- and four-night cruises, catering to travellers seeking short yet fulfilling getaways. The itineraries connect major regional destinations including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur via Port Klang, Phuket and Medan, blending urban exploration with leisurely days at sea.

Beyond the headline performances, guests can enjoy a comprehensive range of onboard offerings, from varied stateroom categories to premium Palace Suites. Entertainment options include theatrical productions and live music, while families can participate in interactive activities. Dining selections feature Halal-friendly and international cuisine, complemented by lounges, wellness facilities and open decks designed for relaxation.

With Tape Face onboard, StarCruises invites travellers to turn their cruise holiday into a laughter-filled escape at sea.
