Le Meridien Putrajaya unveils ‘Destinasi Rasa’ Ramadan buffet experience
Le Meridien Putrajaya is set to welcome the holy month of Ramadan with an extensive culinary celebration titled ‘Destinasi Rasa’, offering diners a vibrant buffet experience that highlights the best of Malaysian heritage cuisine alongside international favourites.
The special Ramadan promotion will be held at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Latest Recipe, from Feb 19 to March 20, 2026, providing a festive dining atmosphere ideal for families, friends and corporate gatherings.
Designed to reflect Malaysia’s rich multicultural identity, the buffet brings together a diverse range of traditional Malay, Chinese and Indian-inspired dishes, complemented by contemporary fusion creations prepared by the hotel’s culinary team.
Guests will be greeted with an appetising selection of Malaysian salads and ulam-ulaman, featuring fresh local ingredients such as kacang botol, petai, pegaga, jantung pisang and ulam raja. These are accompanied by an array of classic condiments including sambal belacan, tempoyak, budu, cincalok and sambal kicap manis.
A dedicated Somtam station will also offer freshly prepared Thai-style shredded green papaya salad, while lovers of traditional flavours can enjoy a variety of salted fish including sepat, gelama and pari, as well as salted eggs.

Adding a modern twist to the spread, diners can indulge in sushi selections and freshly fried seafood and vegetable tempura prepared at live stations.
Among the main highlights are well-loved Malaysian favourites such as aromatic Hainanese Chicken Rice, Ayam Percik, Kambing Kurma Berkentang, Sambal Sotong and Pucuk Ubi Masak Lemak Cili Padi, each crafted to deliver authentic flavours with refined presentation.
“The concept of Destinasi Rasa celebrates Malaysia’s unique food culture, where traditional recipes and diverse influences come together in harmony,” the hotel said in a statement.

To conclude the meal on a sweet note, Latest Recipe will present an impressive dessert corner featuring more than 20 varieties of traditional Malay and Nyonya kuih. Modern desserts such as Chocolate Moist Cake, Red Velvet Cake and Salted Caramel Pandan Honeycomb Cake will also be available.
Other treats include mango mousse, freshly steamed corn, and an interactive chocolate fountain served with marshmallows, strawberries, grapes and dried fruits, providing a fun and indulgent experience for diners of all ages.
