MIFB 2026 positions Malaysia as integrated ASEAN F&B trade hub
The Malaysian International Food & Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB) 2026 is set to return with a renewed national focus aimed at strengthening Malaysia’s food and beverage (F&B) industry through an integrated ‘Made in Malaysia’ ecosystem supported by strong international participation.
Anchored by the theme ‘Future-Ready F&B: Powering the Next Wave’, the upcoming edition builds on more than 25 years of industry experience to serve as a trade-driven platform designed to enhance market access, business capabilities, and export readiness for Malaysian companies.
Organised alongside the Malaysia Café Expo (MCE) and MyFoodTech, MIFB 2026 will connect the entire F&B value chain, ranging from local brands and manufacturers to global distributors and solution providers. The integrated platform is expected to reinforce Malaysia’s position as a future-ready ASEAN trade hub, aligned with evolving regional and international demand.
Beyond product exhibitions, the event will bring together small and medium enterprises (SMEs), brand owners, marketers, innovation partners and high-volume buyers, creating opportunities for knowledge sharing, market benchmarking and strategic collaboration.
A key feature of MIFB 2026 is its curated Buyer Programme, which focuses on facilitating meaningful business matching and trade outcomes. Participating buyers will include retailers, wholesalers, hospitality groups, foodservice operators, airline caterers, entertainment venues and institutional purchasers seeking innovative products and cross-border partnerships.
The exhibition will also highlight emerging growth segments, including ready-to-eat and ready-to-drink products, halal-certified goods, fresh and frozen seafood, F&B technologies, and the café ecosystem encompassing equipment, coffee, bakery and franchise brands.
In supporting talent development, MIFB and MCE 2026 will host the Malaysia National Coffee Championship in collaboration with the Malaysia Specialty Coffee Association. The competition will select four national champions to represent Malaysia at the World Coffee Championships.
Additional programme highlights include expert-led knowledge sessions, halal certification workshops and the Chef Table platform, designed to encourage innovation and cross-sector collaboration.
Malaysian F&B companies, as well as international partners, are encouraged to participate, while buyers are invited to register for direct engagement opportunities. MIFB 2026 is open to trade visitors only. Further details and registration are available at mifb.com.my.
