Founded 27 years ago in 1999 in Ipoh, Maria’s SteakCafe began as a humble dream shared by a couple, Maria and her late husband, Phillip. What started from their home kitchen soon grew into a cosy restaurant in Ipoh, serving freshly baked pastries, pies, quiches, cakes, and a variety of Western dishes, including steaks.
When Maria’s opened its first Klang Valley outlet in Damansara Perdana in 2007, something remarkable happened. Customers travelled from far and wide just to enjoy their steaks. The overwhelming response made one thing clear; steaks were not just another item on the menu, they were the star. From that moment on, Maria’s SteakCafe sharpened its focus and made premium steaks its core specialty.
