The ASEAN FOOD & TRAVEL Awards 2022
The inaugural edition of the ASEAN Food & Travel (AFT) Awards is all set to dazzle and delight this 31st March. The luncheon cum awards ceremony will be officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Malaysia. This awards event seeks to recognise the achievements of outstanding Malaysian SMEs and entrepreneurs in the food and travel industries who have been resilient and excelled in their business endeavours despite the challenging backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
The theme of this year’s awards event is “Honouring Outstanding Malaysian SMEs in the Food & Travel Industry” and a host of inspiring businesses and personalities in the food and travel industries across the country have been selected to receive the awards. With the food and travel industries being the economic sectors most badly affected by the pandemic, these remarkable entrepreneurs have not only persevered but had the gumption to excel in spite of the odds.
Chosen by a panel of expert judges consisting of media experts, researchers, and food and travel critics, all entrants are screened fastidiously to ensure their worthy inclusions in the AFT Awards. An event that promises to be a celebration of food, drinks, achievements, and the businesses and personalities that make it happen awaits!
