Roku Gin, Sun and Moon unveil immersive ‘Come Alive’ experience in KL

Roku Gin, Malaysia’s leading gin brand, has introduced a fresh local interpretation of its ‘Come Alive’ campaign through a collaboration with Sun and Moon, offering an immersive exploration of flavour and craftsmanship throughout December.

The campaign, which centres on embracing life at one’s peak, encourages individuals to rediscover everyday moments with renewed curiosity and connection. In Kuala Lumpur, this message is translated into a curated tasting journey at Sun and Moon that invites guests to savour nature-inspired pairings available for a limited time.

Adding to the campaign’s narrative, content creator Bella Kuan lends her personal perspective on living with intention and spontaneity. A forthcoming video will present her interpretation of what it means to ‘Come Alive’, highlighting the value of presence and meaningful connection.

The collaboration also marks the introduction of Darwin Ng as Suntory Global Spirits’ new Brand Ambassador for Malaysia. Known for his creative approach and strong foundation in Japanese spirits, Darwin is expected to contribute to the region’s evolving cocktail scene.

Drawing from the combined expertise of Darwin and Sun and Moon Head of Bar Zax Lee, the experience features a tapas-style pairing designed to showcase Roku Gin’s six signature botanicals – Sakura flower, Sakura leaf, Yuzu peel, Sencha tea, Gyokuro tea and Sansho pepper.

Each pairing aims to highlight the brand’s philosophy of honouring ingredients at their seasonal peak.

Among the highlights is a specially crafted Roku Gin and Tonic enhanced with crystallised ginger for a gentle spice and citrus lift.

The drink reveals notes of Sakura leaf and Yuzu peel as it opens, offering a refreshing balance suited for daytime enjoyment while embodying the campaign’s spirit of clarity and vitality.

Also featured is a limited-time series of Roku Fizz creations, intended to elevate flavours without overwhelming the palate.

The Fizz serves act as a vibrant complement to dishes such as fig and dry beef toast, where the interplay of sweetness and richness mirrors the drink’s layered warmth and brightness.

The Roku Gin x Sun and Moon Experience will be available exclusively at Sun and Moon, Kuala Lumpur, from Dec 1 to 31, 2025. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
