‘Japanese Black’ Miyazaki Wagyu Receives Limited-Time ‘Prime’ Treatment At Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur

Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur invites guests to experience a special treat all the way from Land of the Rising Sun at two of their award-winning restaurants – PRIME Kuala Lumpur and Gastro Sentral Kuala Lumpur.

Diners at PRIME Kuala Lumpur will be enjoying their Miyazaki Wagyu Grade 5, prepared Ribeye or Picanha, with Seared Hokkaido Scallops. While Gastro Sentral Kuala Lumpur will be offering a 2-course set menu of Seared Boneless Chuck Short Ribs over Japanese Steamed Rice, Soyu Glazed, Garlic Flakes in Beef Fat, Chopped Chives. Both establishments have opted for Castella, honey-scented sponge cake served with Mascarpone Vanilla Ice Cream, as the finisher dessert to perfectly accentuate the palate of the rare meat.

The tantalizing Miyazaki Wagyu is widely known to be held in higher esteem than the famed Kobe Wagyu. Hailing from the Miyazaki prefecture of Kyushu Island, the prized mouth-watering nutriment is internationally recognized for its intricate marbling and tender depth of flavour. The prime delicacy must be obtained from Miyazaki-reared cattle and graded A4 and above in order to qualify as a Miyazaki Wagyu.
