One of Hong Kong’s newest and most exciting openings of the year is all set to delight patrons with its own brand of authentic Modern Mediterranean cuisine. The debut effort of the newly-formed Silver Oak group, Quiero Más is an all-new concept located on the penthouse of the M88 Tower on Wellington Street that has all the necessary ingredients to cement itself as the place to be and be seen.


Drawing from the relaxed atmosphere found in iconic cultural meeting points across Southern Europe such as the lively tapas bars of Spain and the cosy village trattorias of Italy, Quiero Más is your oasis to relax and unwind amidst the hustle and bustle of modern metropolitan Hong Kong. 


The 3000 square foot space, brought to life by renowned designer Hernan Zanghellini and his talented team, evokes the breezy beaches of the Mediterranean coast with its lashings of turquoise and cobalt blue against a backdrop of warm oak flooring and soft leather banquettes.  The feature bar stands imperious in the middle of the dining room, steadily serving up a selection of handcrafted cocktails, imported on-tap beer, and crisply refreshing Spanish cava.

Quiero Más’ carefully curated menu offers a selection of familiar Mediterranean dishes with innovative twists. Aiming to elevate Modern Mediterranean cuisine to new levels while staying true to time-honoured traditions and techniques, the delectable dishes here at Quiero Más draw deeply from the rich flavours of Spain, Southern France, Italy, Greece and even North Africa. 

Crowd favourites in the making include the Lobster a la Louie, a whole Boston lobster bathed in rich Vichyssoise puree, and the King Scallop Escabeche, succulent molluscs delicately marinated in a lemongrass and shallot dressing, sat atop a lush avocado puree. Mouth-watering dishes for the discerning carnivore include Cochinillo Asado (slow-roasted suckling pig) and the Mod-Mad-Mary, a fork-tender aged-lamb shoulder with a chocolate glaze. 

The talented hands behind Quiero Más’ eclectic dishes are those of the artful Spanish maestro Chef Alex Vargas, whose appetite for creativity and passion for innovation shines through in all that he prepares. He works in tandem with one Rajeev Bhasin who certainly knows what it takes when it comes to running a successful restaurant. The brains behind the famed Hong Kong restaurants Namo, Gunpowder, and Gaylord, Rajeev has focused his keen eye for detail and burning enthusiasm into making Quiero Más Hong Kong’s next great hotspot.
