Introducing you to Delicious Western Sdn Bhd! (or “DeliWest” for short) Their products are, as they put it, “simply delicious!”. At DeliWest, they aim to provide you with the convenience of bringing gourmet food to your home & businesses. Their freshly prepared products also enable you to have affordable, hassle-free, and quality food within minutes in the comfort of your own home.

In fact, cooking restaurant-quality food has never been cleaner and easier because all you need to do now is just heat up the oven or grill! All their food products are created and prepared solely at DeliWest’s Production which specialises in western cuisines. They use only the best and freshest ingredients in their productions. Their extensive menu also provides you with great variety in planning your daily meals.

They envision themselves as becoming the leaders in this industry through the introduction of more innovative ways of doing business and bringing more convenience to everyone. They aim to do this through a strategic expansion plan that will see them open outlets throughout Malaysia as well as introduce innovations in technology, services, and products that will cater to the future needs of their customers.

Established in 1996, the business was founded by Mr Ho Ah Chai and started with one shop lot in the Selayang Old Wholesale Market. Mr Ho first started in poultry farming and processing in the 1980s. Seeing the potential of the upcoming retail industry, he was inspired to open the first 24-hour wet and frozen market. The core business of Sri Ternak is the retail of fresh and frozen food products at wholesale prices 24-hours daily. Most of their products are locally sourced but they also import frozen food from international suppliers to cater to the needs of their customers. Thus, Sri Ternak Agro Sdn Bhd and Sri Ternak Marine Sdn Bhd were formed to manage the respective imports of meat and seafood.

In 2013, the second outlet was opened as Sri Ternak Mart (SK) Sdn Bhd in Pasar Borong Selangor at Seri Kembangan. With a total area of 14,250 sqft and a workforce of more than 200 staff, it was targeted towards customers from the F&B business owners in the area, however with their wholesale prices it has attracted a large percentage of household customers as well.

In their quest to bring convenience to everyone, in early 2017 ST Group embarked on a strategy to offer customers a 5-star restaurant’s premium food but easily prepared within minutes. Thus, another company Delicious Western Sdn Bhd (DeliWest) was born into the Group. DeliWest offers a range of pre-prepared food products that is so convenient to prepare yet taste as if they came from a 5-star restaurant. The same year DeliWest was awarded Best Frozen Western Food by Asia Halal Brand Awards.
