Tease Your Taste Buds with These Top Three Mouth-Watering Dishes in Kuantan

Pahang’s capital city has its own beauty. People come from far and wide just to experience its spectacular, breathtaking views.  It’s hard to resist its natural charm, but it’s even harder to resist the mouth-watering dishes that are available there when you work up an appetite.

Here are top three mouth-watering dishes to try out if you happen to be there:

Ikan Bakar Sambal Petai

Head to Ana Ikan Bakar Petai to tease your taste buds with this enticing dish.

It’s wrapped in a banana leaf and grilled with thick sambal sauce, onion slices as well as fresh petai.

Although there are many ikan bakar stalls in Kuantan, Ana Ikan Bakar Petai is one of the most popular ones around. Make sure you come early because finding a place to sit can be difficult during peak hours.

Don’t forget to order the Kangkung Goreng Belacan while you’re there. The dish is mildly spicy and light in flavour due to the mixture of chili slices and belacan – a combination that chili lovers usually enjoy in Kuantan.

You’ll notice the exotic flavour due to the mixture of patin fish and fermented durian.

If you are a fan of the king of fruits, you’ll definitely give it a thumbs up.
