The Slate Phuket, the whimsical, art-inspired seafront sanctuary, is inviting travellers to embark on a gastronomic journey of discovery that will simultaneously stimulate their senses and tantalize their taste buds.

Under the new “Gastronomic Adventure” package, curious explorers can experience a fully immersive, multi-sensory stay at The Slate that includes mouth-watering meals and plenty of extra benefits. The journey starts as soon as travellers arrive at Phuket International Airport, and they are transported by private car to the resort. Upon arrival, guests who book the Indigo Studio will be upgraded to a Pearl Bed Suite, and those staying in the Pearl Shell Suite, Bensley Suite, or Pool Villas will be treated to a complimentary bottle of bubbly!

Throughout their stay, guests will start each day with a dreamy daily breakfast at Tin Mine, the vibrant restaurant, including freshly-baked bread and pastries, tropical fruits and an extensive selection of Thai, Asian, and Western favourites. They will then be able to choose from daily lunch or dinner at any of the resort’s acclaimed dining venues, including one glass of wine, sparkling wine, beer, soft drink, or juice per person per meal.

This appetizing half-board offer will enable guests to experience The Slate’s world-class culinary settings, including Black Ginger, the award-winning Thai restaurant which has been recommended by the Michelin Guide. A masterpiece of traditional Thai architecture, it appears to float above a tranquil lagoon and is only accessible by a wooden raft. Alternatively, Rivet, the intriguing design-led destination with its dramatic, industrial-chic interiors, has been reimagined with an all-new concept that will envelop diners in the heady flavours and fragrances of an open-fired grill and smokehouse.

Culinary creativity is only one aspect of this holistic guest experience, however; visitors will also be offered daily activities, a 10% discount at Kru Precision Wellness and 20% off treatments at the serene Coqoon Spa, and those staying in the Pearl Shell Suites will receive personal butler service, complimentary mini-bar items, and a sublime 60-minute Coqoon Rebirth massage for two people. Guests fortunate enough to be staying in the resort’s breath-taking Bensley Suite or Pool Villas will enjoy all the aforementioned benefits, plus daily afternoon tea, welcome snacks curated by The Slate’s expert chef, packing and unpacking services, a private Pilates or Muay Thai boxing class, and laundry services. Finally, at the end of the adventure, every guest will be transported back to the airport in style and comfort.

Guests can stay in a choice of stylish and spacious accommodations, including the stunning Pool Suites

“At The Slate, we strive to curate amazing gastronomic experiences that delight and surprise in equal measure. It’s not only about the food; it’s the entire journey: the flavours, aromas, atmosphere and activities all come together to create immersive journeys that spark conversion and live long in the memory. Our ‘Gastronomic Adventure’ gives guests the chance to explore our diverse dining destinations and enjoy truly unforgettable encounters in Phuket,” said The Slate’s co-founder and owner, Krystal Prakaikaew Na-Ranong (or “Khun Moo” as she is known to her friends).

Every element of The Slate is designed to inspire the imagination and stimulate the senses, from its avant-garde interiors, installations and artworks to creative cuisine, Thai wellness, natural aromatic oils and regular cultural collaborations that showcase music, dance, art, design, fashion and more. It is little wonder that this Design Hotels member was ranked as the #7 best resort in Thailand in the Condé Nast 2022 Readers’ Choice Awards.
