Ayam Pansuh
Ayam Pansuh or Manok Pansoh is a unique traditional Iban dish that is basically cooked in bamboo.
Tapioca shoot is placed at the bamboo tip to produce an aromatic scent before it is grilled using charcoal and firewood. This natural way of cooking seals in the flavours and produces an amazing taste. If you want to know what it tastes like to bite into tender chicken and aromatic gravy with a mixture of ingredients including lemongrass and bamboo, head over to Sarawak’s Bowl. They have outlets in Sunway Putra Mall and Setapak Central.

Sarawak Laksa
Sarawak Laksa became world famous after the late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain listed it as one of his favourite dishes. This sweet, spicy and sour dish consists of vermicelli rice noodles cooked in shrimp-based broth made from sambal belacan, tamarind, garlic, galangal, lemongrass, and coconut milk. To make it tastier, shredded chicken, prawns, bean sprouts, and omelette strips are added into the mixture.
